Ph.D. Programme

The Department offers Ph.D programme (Full Time / Part Time / Self Sponsored) in Humanities & Social Sciences and Management. The admission to the Ph.D programme is conducted twice (as it is notified time to time basis) every year usually in the month of December/June.

• Eligibility criteria for admission to Ph.D Programme in Humanities & Social Sciences:

Scholars for admission to the Ph.D. program in Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) must have a Master degree in relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent or 6.5 CGPA in a 10 point grading system or 55% (6.0 CGPA out of 10) with a UGC/CSIR-NET/NBHM tenable for the year of admission. Preference will be given to NET qualified candidates.

• Eligibility criteria for admission to Ph.D Programme in Management

MBA/P.G. Diploma in Management of 2-year duration with 60% marks (or a CGPA of 6.5 in 10 point scale). Preference will be given to GATE and NET qualified candidates.
